We are a UK commercial solar specialist focused on one sector that most installers treat as an afterthought: holiday parks, caravan parks, lodge parks, glamping sites and campsites. Most solar companies will quote a park using the same generic commercial template they use for a warehouse, sizing the system to a flat 24/7 load profile that a holiday park simply does not have. We do the opposite. We start from your occupancy calendar and your half-hourly meter data, because a park's electricity demand is intensely seasonal and that seasonality is the whole story.
Why we focus on caravan and holiday parks
Holiday parks are one of the strongest, and most misunderstood, solar cases in UK leisure. The standard objection is "our demand is all in summer, so won't the panels sit idle half the year?" The answer is that your highest-value loads, swimming pool heating, shower-block hot water, kitchen and bar refrigeration and increasingly guest EV charging, peak in exactly the sunny months when the panels generate most. In-season self-consumption is naturally very high, and in the quiet winter you export under the Smart Export Guarantee. Once you understand that match, a park becomes a better candidate than a year-round office, not a worse one. We have built our whole approach around modelling it properly.
How we work
We are independent of any panel or inverter manufacturer, so we specify what suits your park rather than what we have a quota to shift. Every project starts with a free desk-based feasibility study from your half-hourly meter data and roof drawings, overlaid on your occupancy calendar, with an indicative system size, generation forecast and payback inside 7 working days. No site visit is needed for that first proposal. If the numbers work, our structural and electrical engineers visit for a one-day survey, after which we deliver a fixed-price proposal with full yield modelling, a financial DCF and clear contract terms.
Crucially, we will tell you if your site does not suit solar. We would rather walk away from a project that will not deliver than damage our record by selling a system that underperforms. We also handle the things park owners find awkward: the BS 7671 Section 708 condition survey of your pitch pillars and amenity-block electrics, the G99 grid connection application, planning in National Parks and AONBs where it applies, and the Workplace Charging Scheme paperwork for guest EV charging.
Our sector expertise
Our engineers hold full MCS commercial certification and design to the standards that actually govern park electrical installations: BS 7671 Section 708 for caravan and camping park distribution, Section 702 for swimming pool plant rooms, and the SPF1981 fire-safety standard for rooftop PV that insurers increasingly require. We deliver coastal salt-resistant specifications for seaside parks, off-grid solar-plus-battery systems for remote touring and glamping sites where a grid extension would be ruinously expensive, and phased multi-park roll-outs for groups that want a standardised design and central monitoring across every site.
Accreditations you can verify
We hold every certification a UK commercial solar installer should hold, and each can be checked against the issuing body: MCS commercial certification, NICEIC approved-contractor status, RECC membership, TrustMark licensing, OZEV-approved-installer status for EV charging, and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 for quality, environment and health and safety. We are a member of Solar Energy UK. The verification links are listed below so you can confirm each one yourself rather than taking our word for it.
Insurance-backed warranty
Every install carries a 10-year insurance-backed workmanship warranty, underwritten so that the cover stands even if our company circumstances change. Tier-1 panels carry a 25-year performance warranty, and inverters carry their manufacturer warranties. We also offer annual operations and maintenance visits with 24/7 remote monitoring and automated underperformance alerts, which matter especially on coastal parks where salt and algae can affect output if a system is left unchecked.
Honest, defensible, no cowboys
The renewable sector has a reputation problem because of high-pressure sales and inflated savings claims. We do the opposite: we share the full financial model so you can change the assumptions yourself, we quote a fixed price with the hidden costs (DNO connection, structural survey, scaffolding, any electrical upgrades) itemised up front, and we put genuine figures in front of you rather than best-case fantasies. If you want to understand the numbers before you talk to us, our cost page sets out real UK pricing and our grants and funding guide explains exactly which reliefs apply to a park. When you are ready, request a quote and we will model your park properly.
